Your Rehab Packing Guide
If you’ve decided to enter our treatment program, you may be wondering what items to take for the duration of your stay. It is not unusual to feel anxious or worried about going to rehab. One cause for concern can be uncertainty about what can and should be brought with you. Most rehab facilities, including Florida Helps FL, have rules about the types of items that can be taken to treatment. As a result, many centers provide a checklist of items that are allowed as well as prohibited.
We’ve put together an easy-to-understand list of the items you should bring to rehab, along with the items that you should not carry along. Based on our years of experience in the addiction treatment field, people ask about these items the most. We hope this helps you or a loved one in making the Florida Helps Florida addiction treatment experience as comfortable as possible.
Please note there are no family visits at this time due to COVID-19 guidelines. Family sessions will occur via Zoom or other social medial platforms.

Recovery Testimonies
Our Google Reviews show the experiences of clients and families who received addiction treatment at Florida Helps. Their stories reflect the care and support provided by our team.
I have been to several in patient programs and this one is by far the best. The food is amazing, they have great snack and ice cream machine available 24/7. The nursing staff works with you to ensure comfort while being here. The best part is you get to keep your cell phone on you 24/7. 1st place I’ve been to that allows phones even during detox. Very friendly staff and the owner even comes to groups and listens to feed back on how to make the program better.

I really love this place. It’s on the newer side but it is really patient-centered. I’ve been here twice. The staff from top to bottom is kind and understanding. I was able to connect with the small community and process things with excellent therapists.
