Vice President of Business Development
Mike builds the outreach and partnerships that help individuals and families find their way to care. Originally from South Boston before relocating to South Florida, Mike is in long-term recovery himself and stays active in the 12-Step community, drawing on his own journey to help guide others toward lasting sobriety. He founded Freedom House, a 65-bed recovery program in Deerfield Beach, co-founded the PHP/IOP program Blue Sky Treatment, and spent time as a partner and 12-Step instructor at Hope and Grace Recovery Center in Fort Lauderdale.
Outside the field, Mike has appeared in two Martin Scorsese films (The Departed and Shutter Island, playing a corrections officer in the latter). He’s been married to his wife, Lisa, for over 20 years, and together they have a daughter, Taylor. That same sense of commitment to family, recovery, and service shapes how he approaches his work every day.
